Back in 1998, the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA) recognised a need in the market for a high-profile event that would serve not only as an acknowledgement of excellent work done, but also as a networking forum for players in the Direct Marketing field – and thus the “Assegais” were born!
This year Machine_ entered a variety of campaigns and clients into 19 categories, from social media to direct mail and are proud to have been awarded 16 finalist slots for this year’s awards.
Robyn Campbell, Machine_ Cape Town Managing Director commented: “We’re thrilled to have received a large number of finalists for the Assegai Awards, across a range of our wonderful clients. Direct Marketing is a growing specialisation in the industry and it’s fantastic to see such a diverse set of finalists and best in class work being showcased.”
Machine_ scored 3 finalist slots for Sanlam Reality, 2 for Doritos, 4 for UCOOK, 6 for Heineken and 1 for TCRS (recently rebranded to Nutun).
